Professor position in Theoretical Physics – all levels
ASSIGNMENT :
This full-time (tenure or tenure-track, depending on experience) appointment includes research and teaching at bachelor, master and postgraduate level as well as supervising master and doctoral theses.
Our department wishes to recruit a theoretical physicist, preferably within the field of theoretical cosmology or a related subject. We are seeking a candidate with proven international scientific reputation. We particularly welcome scientists with a broad spectrum of expertise in theoretical physics.
The selected candidate is expected to develop original research at the highest international level, to be able to coordinate a research group, to secure external (national or international - EU) funding, to have good pedagogical skills for teaching and the ability to initiate communication and outreach programs for the Faculty.
We offer financial, technical and administrative support to initiate the research. The employment is available from October 1, 2018 onwards.
