Field of Interest:gr-qc, hep-ph, hep-th
Deadline: 2018-03-31
Region: Europe
Job description:
The Laboratory of High Energy and Computational Physics (HECP) of the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics (NICPB) invites applications for a Postdoc position in topics related to particle physics, cosmology and gravity.
Questions and expression of interests should be submitted via email to Prof. Martti Raidal, martti.raidal@cern.ch
The fellowship includes salary and travel funds for a period of two years. The starting date can be arranged to suit the schedule of the selected candidate.
The research group of the Laboratory of HECP, lead by Prof. Martti Raidal, currently comprises ten researchers working on topics that range from the phenomenology of physics beyond the Standard Model to cosmology, with particular interest in collider physics, naturalness, theories of Inflation, phenomenology of Dark Matter and gravitational waves in connection to phase transitions. The group is in collaboration with the CERN theory Division (Prof. J. Ellis and Prof. A. Djouadi). HECP has a local group of experimental physicists within the CMS collaboration at CERN.
