Job description:
The Galician Institute of High Energy Physics, IGFAE, at the University of Santiago de Compostela, invites applications for research associate positions within its Global Talent Program.
This new program aims to recruit outstanding postdoctoral researchers capable of preparing and leading a competitive research project within the institute. The search is very broad and includes High-Energy Particle Physics (both Theory and Experiment), Astroparticle Physics and Cosmology, and Nuclear Physics. Opening new lines of research, that would complement those existing in the Institute at present, is encouraged.
The positions are for three years with additional funds for research and the possibility to supervise PhD students and postdocs. IGFAE will encourage successful candidates to apply to ERC and Ramon y Cajal programs. Permanent positions will be available for successful ERC applicants through the (external) Oportunius program.
