Job description:
The successful candidate will enroll at the PhD studies at the Institute of Nuclear Physics of Polish Academy
of Sciences (IFJ PAN), Krakow, Poland, and work with Wojciech Florkowski, Radoslaw Ryblewski and their collaborators in realization of the Polish National Science Center project "New Theories of Relativistic Hydrodynamics for Strongly Interacting Matter". The research will be carried out along the pursuit of the PhD degree in theoretical physics.
Requirements:
- MSc in physics;
- experience/interest in theory of ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions;
- knowledge of computer languages (C/C++/Mathematica);
- good knowledge of written and spoken English;
Employment conditions:
Fellowship of net income 3000 PLN/month for 24 months, renewed after 12 months.
(Due to lower living costs in Poland compared to Western Europe, the fellowship allows for a comfortable life standard. Extension of the financial support within the PhD program at IFJ PAS for longer time might be possible.)
