Job description:
We are seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to work with Dr. Katherine Mack in theoretical/computational cosmology research with a focus on dark matter phenomenology, connections between particle physics and astrophysics, high redshift astrophysics, galaxy formation and evolution.
The researcher will have opportunities to work independently on a range of projects and to interact with members of the NC State Physics Department as well as with members of other local institutions through the CoSMS Institute.
Candidates will also have opportunities to be involved with NC State’s new Leadership in Public Science Cluster, of which Mack is a member. This may take the form of open science or public engagement in connection with the research, or work with members of the Cluster on new projects.
The successful candidate will be expected to begin in Fall 2018 and funding is available for two years.
