The Interdisciplinary Center for Theoretical Study (ICTS) at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) invites applications for up to four postdoctoral positions in the theoretical area of physics beyond standard model with preference to candidates in string/M theory, particle phenomenology, cosmology and black hole physics.
The initial appointment for the position is for 2 years, and is renewable for up to 3 additional years, based on research performance and availability of funding. The range of annual salary is RMB 100k to 180k, depending on qualifications. In addition, USTC provides group medical coverage and other benefits along with affordable housing which costs less than RMB 1000 monthly.
