High Energy Physics (KA13970) - Postdoc at Cambridge U.

The successful candidates will have a PhD (or doctoral thesis soon to be submitted). Additionally, the successful candidates will have expertise in precision calculations for hadron colliders (NLO and NNLO calculations, calculations of multiloop/multileg amplitudes and matching parton showers with higher order calculations) and/or high precision tests of the Standard Model relevant to searches for physics beyond the Standard Model.

The successful candidates will benefit from the excellent academic atmosphere at Cambridge, computing and travel support, and from the Centre's dynamic visitor programme. He/she will be expected to interact closely with both the Experimental groups at the Cavendish Laboratory and the Theory groups at the Cavendish Laboratory and at DAMPT. Independent work, consistent with the Centre's overall goals, is also encouraged.

Where the successful applicant does not yet have a PhD, he/she will normally be under-appointed as a Research Assistant in a Research Associate post (on the understanding that he/she will be appointed as a Research Associate upon successful completion of his/her PhD).
