Job description:
The Division of Theoretical Physics at Uppsala University invites applications for a PhD position in theoretical physics, with starting date 1 February 2018 or later according to agreement.
The successful PhD candidate will work on topics related to scattering amplitudes in quantum field theory, supergravity and string theory under the supervision of Associate Professor Henrik Johansson. The position is funded by a Swedish Foundations' Starting Grant from the Ragnar Soderberg’s foundation.
The application must include a letter where the applicant describes herself/himself, his/her merits and research interests as well as a CV, copies of university grades, completed theses or manuscripts and other relevant publications. We appreciate if two letters of recommendation are included. Letters of recommendation can be sent directly to recletterjohansson@gmail.com
