Job description:
One postdoctoral fellow position in Theoretical/Computational Condensed Matter Physics is available in the research group of Prof. Donna Sheng.
The position is for two years, beginning the summer of 2018, with a possible one-year extension. Candidates with experiences of studying strongly correlated systems, topological physics, quantum spin liquids, and unconventional superconductivity are encouraged to apply.
Applicants are required to have a Ph.D in physics. Experiences with numerical (including density matrix renormalization group, tensor network, and exact diagonalization) methods are highly preferred. The postdoc fellow will have an opportunity to work on a joint project with Stanford, Berkeley or Princeton groups.
