Job description:
The High Energy Physics group at York University invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in theoretical particle physics. Candidates with interests in either of the following areas are especially encouraged to apply:
Astroparticle physics and cosmology, especially dark matter physics
Lattice QCD, with applications to Standard Model and/or beyond the Standard Model physics
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in theoretical physics and a record of research excellence. The appointment is for two years, beginning fall 2018, with an extension to a third year upon mutual agreement.
Exceptional candidates will be nominated for the Banting Fellowship or York Science Fellowship. If successful, this would carry an increased stipend and travel budget. For further details on these opportunities, see:
