Job description:
The Department of Physics at the University of Virginia invites applications for a post-doctoral Research Associate in Theoretical High Energy Physics, anticipated to begin September 2018. An earlier start date could be considered if mutually desired.
The group's interests include (but are not restricted to) high-temperature field theory, string theory and applications of AdS/CFT.
Candidates must have a PhD degree by the appointment start date. This is a one-year appointment which may be renewed for an additional year, contingent on available funding and satisfactory performance.
