The Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China invites applications for 2 postdoctoral researcher positions in theoretical nuclear physics.
The successful candidates are expected to carry out independent study on theoretical nuclear physics, including but not limited to,
1) Equation of state (EOS) of isospin asymmetric (nuclear or quark) matter;
2) Heavy-ion collisions from low to ultra-relativistic energies,
3) Structure and dynamics of compact stars.
The initial appointment for this position is for 2 years with possible renewal or promotion. We welcome highly motivated applicants who have obtained or about to have a PhD in theoretical nuclear physics or related field. We provide a competitive salary and additional housing benefits through the university.
