Job description:
Applications are invited for a Ph.D. position in the Heavy-Ion Phenomenology group at Bielefeld University. The position is for 3 years and is paid according to salary group TV-L 13 (65%). 

Applicants should hold a degree (master or equivalent) in physics and they should have already demonstrated good research abilities in Heavy Ion Physics.

The successful candidate will participate in research projects of the newly founded Collaborative Research Center (CRC-TR 211) ''Strong-Interaction Matter under Extreme Conditions'' of University groups in Bielefeld, Frankfurt and Darmstadt. Within the CRC-TR he or she will contribute to research on Heavy Ion Collisions with relativistic fluid dynamics and collaborate with groups at the other nodes of the research center
