Job description:
Five junior post-doctoral (“Assegno di Ricerca A2-type”) positions are available at the Dipartimento di Fisica of the University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy [1]. In the application, candidates should present a research plan within the research lines of the Physics Department.
The CMS experiment is one of the research areas where the INFN and the Physics Department of Milano-Bicocca are active, with current involvement in the ECAL and the Pixel detectors, as well as in physics analyses in the Standard Model, Higgs, EXO and b-physics groups. In addition, we are contributing to the phase II upgrade of CMS in the pixel detector and in the newly proposed Mip Timing Detector. You may find more information on the research areas followed by our group and on the group interests at [2].
