Applications are invited for a PhD position in Cosmology at the Center for Theoretical Astrophysics and Cosmology, Institute for Computational Science, University of Zurich, Switzerland. The appointment can start in Fall 2017, and the position will be available until filled.
Working with Prof. Yoo, the successful applicant will work on large-scale structure and cosmology. Successful candidates are expected to have good understanding of general relativity and quantum field theory. A particular emphasis will be placed on the experience in the relativistic perturbation theory. PhD salaries are approximately CHF 47,000 ~ 50,000 per annum.
Applicants are expected to have a master degree in physics, astronomy, or any other related area. The appointment is usually for three years, but can be extended for one more year.
