Job description:
Applications are invited for a Ph.D. position in Theoretical High Energy Physics at Bielefeld University. The position is for 3 years, and it is paid according to salary group TV-L 13 (65%).
Applicants should hold a degree (master's or equivalent) in physics and they should have already shown good research abilities and potential in quantum field theory.
The successful candidate will participate in research projects of the newly founded Collaborative Research Center (CRC-TR 211) ''Strong-Interaction Matter under Extreme Conditions'' of University groups in Bielefeld, Frankfurt and Darmstadt. Within the CRC-TR he or she will contribute to the research on QCD for non-equilibrium and/or in the early Universe.
