Job description:
The group of Lattice Field Theory at the Institute for Theoretical Physics IFT CSIC-UAM, Madrid, Spain, welcomes applications for a postdoctoral position to work in Lattice QCD.
Faculty members of the IFT Lattice Field Theory Group are Isabel Campos, Margarita García Pérez, Antonio González-Arroyo, Gregorio Herdoiza, and Carlos Pena.
Advanced simulation techniques, algorithm development, and code porting to new High Performance Computing architectures, are among the topics of special interest to fill this position.
The contract will start in Fall 2016 and extend 2 years. Earlier starting dates are also possible. Salary scale will depend on the postdoctoral experience of the applicant.
The required information includes a presentation letter with a statement of research interests, full CV and the names of three referees that can provide recommendation letters. Candidates are expected to have obtained their PhD not later than April 30, 2016. Full consideration will be given to applications received before Dec 15, 2015.
