Job description:
The University of Wuppertal, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, invites applications for a PhD student position in experimental particle physics in the area of ATLAS data analysis.
Requirements
Frequent or long term stays at CERN are possible in the course of the project.
The position is financed through the German Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) until the end of the present funding period (June 30, 2018) and will be extended to a period of 3 years (subject to funding approval).

- Master of Science degree (or equivalent) in physics
- Specialization in experimental particle physics or a closely related field
- Experience in data analysis techniques
- Programming skills (C++ or Python)
