Your profile We are looking for applicants with a Ph.D. in particle physics and the potential to drive progress in physics analysis in high-energy physics. Applications consist of a CV, a cover letter, and at least two letters of recommendation. Your responsibilities The successful candidate is expected to strengthen our group in the area of searches for beyond the standard model phenomena. Besides the existing portfolio of theory-driven searches in specific signatures, we pursue a unique model-independent search where the candidate is expected to take a leading position. Supervision of undergraduate and doctoral students is expected at an appropriate level, as well as the usual contributions to the operation of CMS. What we offer The position is for 3 years and is to be filled as soon as possible. This is a full-time position. The salary corresponds to level E13 TV-L.
