Job description:
The Theoretical Physics group of the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Bologna and the INFN section of Bologna invites applications for PhD positions. We expect some of the positions to be filled in the area of theoretical physics.
The interests of the group include a wide range of topics in particle physics, quantum field theory, string theory, quantum gravity, black holes and cosmology. More detailed information on research activities and group members can be found at:

We encourage PhD applicants to get in contact with group members to discuss possible research projects.
The vicinity of the local INFN and INAF sections provides in addition a stimulating environment for research.
