Job description:
The Department of Physics at Harvard University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in experimental physics. The areas of interest include, but are not limited to: quantum condensed-matter physics; atomic, molecular and optical physics; quantum science; and particle physics. The appointee will teach and advise at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2016. We strongly encourage applications from women and minority candidates.
Basic Qualifications: Doctorate or terminal degree in Physics or related discipline required by the time the appointment begins.
Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated excellence in teaching and research is desired.
