The successful applicant is expected to take a leading role in the operation and performance of the DBM in preparation of its use in luminosity measurements and to make significant contributions to ID operations. The Candidate should have a Ph.D in experimental particle physics and would be based full-time at CERN. A strong background in tracking detectors and detector readout is desirable. The initial appointment is for one year and is renewable yearly upon mutual agreement and subject to funding.
Interested applicants should submit:
• A letter of application indicating your particular interests and talents.
• A C.V.
• A brief statement of research interests
In addition, the candidate should arrange for three letters of recommendation to be e-mailed to Prof. Joshua Moss via csu-atlas@csus.edu. Applications will be accepted immediately and continue until the position is filled.
