Job description:
The Laboratory of Theoretical and High Energy Physics (LPTHE) in Paris invites applications for a postdoctoral position in high energy theory.

The successful candidate will be part of the Particle Physics and Cosmology group at the LPTHE. The laboratory is embedded in the University of Paris VI “Pierre et Marie Curie” (located in the heart of Paris in the Latin Quarter),  itself part of Sorbonne Universités. The laboratory benefits from networks such as the Institut Lagrange de Paris, FRIF and GDR Terascale. There is a strong visitor program and a wide variety of seminars; in addition the Paris area offers a multitude of other laboratories with world experts in many fields, providing a highly stimulating research environment and many possibilities for collaboration.

Applications should be made online via

The position will be funded by the ANR project "HIGGSAUTOMATOR", the aim of which is to develop theory and automatic tools to understand the implications for new physics of the Higgs mass, taken in combination with the latest information about other observables including primarily Higgs production and decays, but also direct collider analyses, direct/indirect dark matter searches and other experiments such as beam dumps. More information can be found at
