Job description:
The HEP group of Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU) have several researcher and postdoc position openings for JUNO, Mu2e or BES3 experiments.
(1) JUNO (http://juno.ihep.ac.cn/) is a neutrino experiment under construction in China.
(2) Mu2e (http://mu2e.fnal.gov/), an experiment searching for CLFV (Charged Lepton Flavor Violation) signals through muon to electron conversion, is under construction at Fermilab.
(3) BES3 (http://bes3.ihep.ac.cn/), physics data analysis.
Successful candidates are expected to play an important role in one or multiple fields on the above experiments. Experience with physics data analysis, simulation, software are preferred. The group is also interested in energy frontier, applicants with experience on LHC experiments like ATLAS, CMS are encouraged to apply.
Description of positions:
The candidates should have Ph.D. degree in Particle Physics or Nuclear Physics. The annual salary varies between 120k-350k RMB (20k-50k USD) according to experience of the candidates and performance evaluation. The position is based in Guangzhou, China. Knowledge of Chinese language is not required. The initial appointment is two or three years.
