Job description:
The Institut de Physique Théorique (IPhT) at the CEA Saclay and the Laboratoire de Physique Théorique des Hautes Énergies (LPTHE) at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris announce a two-year postdoctoral position starting at the latest on October 1st, 2017.
The position is opened in the context of the ANR project "OptimalJets" to study jet physics at the LHC, with particular interest in the QCD understanding of jet substructure. The project is lead by Gregory Soyez at the IPhT and Matteo Cacciari at the LPTHE. Both laboratories have strong QCD groups.
Candidates are expected to have a strong experience and interest with perturbative QCD. A knowledge of resummation techniques will be a plus.
Applications should be submitted online via http://www.lpthe.jussieu.fr/applications/particlepostdoc2016/, specifying the "Jets" preference. The deadline for applications is November 30th, 2016.
