Theoretical Nuclear Physics - Postdoc at ECT, Trento

The European Centre for Theoretical Studies in Nuclear Physics and Related Areas (ECT*, Trento, Italy) invites applications for two 2-year postdoctoral positions starting in the full of 2017.

 

The local research at the ECT* focuses on Theoretical Nuclear Physics in a broad sense as well as on related areas. In addition, the main scientific activities carried out at ECT* concern workshops, collaboration meetings, doctoral training programs and specialized courses.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to conduct research within any of the fields of Nuclear Structure and Reactions, Hadron Physics, Quantum Chromodynamics, Physics of Matter under Extreme Conditions and Ultra-relativistic Heavy Ion Collisions, including the possibility to collaborate with the researchers at the Centre.
