The Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ITP-CAS, Beijing) invites applications to fill two postdoc positions to start in 2017, in QFT and String Theory, especially in directions of scattering amplitudes and string/gauge duality. The initial appointment is for two years, with the possibility of a third-year extension.
ITP-CAS is one of the most prestigious research institutions for theoretical physics in China. We have very active research groups in the areas of string theory, particle physics and so on. The successful applicants can also benefit from the year-around research programs at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics in China (KITPC).
