Job description:
The McGill University Centre for High Energy Physics invites applications for postdoctoral positions to start in September of 2017. The successful applicant will join an exciting theoretical physics group, including Robert Brandenberger, Simon Caron-Huot, Jim Cline, Keshav Dasgupta, Sarah Harrison and Alex Maloney, as well as several postdoctoral researchers. Research in our group covers string theory, field theory, particle phenomenology, astroparticle physics, mathematical physics and cosmology. We have strong ties to the research groups in astrophysics, nuclear theory, condensed matter theory and mathematics. To be considered for a regular postdoctoral position, applications should be received by November 30, 2015. To apply, the applicant should submit a curriculum vitae, list of publications, statement of research interests and at least three letters of recommendation. Applications should be submitted through the academic jobs online website: Several special fellowships exist for exceptional applicants. Applicants whose research area is in cosmology can be put forward for a fellowship supported in part by the Lorne Trottier Chair in Astrophysics and Cosmology at McGill and may also be nominated for a Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (CITA) National Fellowship. Applications which are received by November 15, 2015 will automatically be considered for these fellowships. |
