The high energy theory and cosmology groups in the Department of Physics at the University of Michigan invite applications for one or more postdoctoral positions starting in the Fall of 2016. We welcome applications in any sub-field, including early universe physics, standard model physics, beyond the standard model physics, string theory, string phenomenology, quantum field theory, gravity, and particle cosmology.

The University of Michigan has a very active program in these areas. Current faculty members are R. Akhoury, H. Elvang, G. Evrard, K. Freese, D. Huterer, G. Kane, F. Larsen, J. Liu, L. Pando Zayas, A. Pierce, B. Safdi, and J. Wells. The Michigan Center for Theoretical Physics (MCTP) attracts the world's top physicists through its conferences, workshops, and visitor programs. Michigan also has a large active experimental particle physics group.
