Graduate student position - Student at U. Bern, AEC

Pending confirmation of funding, the thermal field theory group at ITP Bern (affiliated with the Albert Einstein Center for Fundamental Physics) plans to fill a graduate student position. The preferred starting date is October 2016 or soon afterwards.

The research interests of the group include field theory at finite temperatures and densities, particle cosmology, heavy ion phenomenology, and lattice gauge theory. A solid background in quantum field theory is a necessary prerequisite for being considered for the position.
