Job description:
The successful candidate will enroll at the PhD studies at the Institute of Physics of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland, and collaborate with Prof. Wojciech Broniowski and members of his team in
realization of the Polish National Science Center project "Longitudinal correlations in ultra-relativistic nuclear collisions". New theoretical analyses and development of methods are planned, in conjunction with physical interpretations of new experimental results from the LHC. The research will be carried out along the pursuit of the PhD degree in theoretical physics.

Requirements:
- MSc in physics obtained before 1 Oct. 2016
- experience/interest in theory of ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions;
- knowledge of computer languages (C/C++ and Mathematica);
- good knowledge of written and spoken English;

Employment conditions:
Fellowship of net 3000PLN/month for 30 months, starting from 1 Oct. 2016, renewed after 12 and 24 months.  Due to lower living costs in Poland compared to Western Europe, the fellowship allows for a comfortable life standard.
