JETSCAPE Postdoctoral Fellow - Postdoc at Wayne State U.

The nuclear theory group at Wayne State University has an opening for a researcher at the postdoctoral level. We are seeking a person with experience in a subset of the following topics: the theory of hadronic matter at high temperature and/or high density, QCD jets and hard processes, in-medium effects, transport and hydrodynamical modelling of relativistic heavy ion collisions. Experience in computational methods is a must.

The initial appointment is for a period of one year, starting as early as September 2016, and renewable annually upon mutual agreement, for for a total of up to three years. The postdoctoral fellow will be hired by Wayne State University and will spend two years at McGill, and one year at Wayne State following a mutually agreed upon plan. The chosen candidate will be part of JETSCAPE: an NSF-funded collaboration within the Software Infrastructure for Sustained Innovation Program.
