Job description:
The ATLAS group at the University of Sheffield is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Research Associate to lead group activities in the area of measurements of top quark pair production in association with a Z boson (ttZ production). You will be expected to develop and maintain a high profile within ATLAS by contributing effectively to central ATLAS top working group activities, and also to supervise PhD students working in this area. You will also be required to undertake a limited amount of service work for the collaboration, and also to carry out shifts and operation tasks.

You will hold a PhD (or equivalent experience) in Particle Physics or a related discipline and will have experience of particle physics data analysis.
The post is available immediately on a fixed-term basis for 36 months.
