Job description:
The Institute for Nuclear and Particle Physics (INPAC) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral research associate to work on the ATLAS experiment at CERN.
The successful candidate will take a leading role on the data analysis and/or detector upgrade related to the muon trigger, and will be based at CERN. The initial appointment for this position is for 2 years with possible renewal or promotion. We welcome highly motivated applicants who have obtained or about to have a PhD in experimental high energy physics or related field. The review of application will begin immediately and last until the position is filled. We provide a competitive salary and additional financial support for living at CERN.
INPAC (http://inpac.physics.sjtu.edu.cn/) has about twenty faculty members working on diverse areas of fundamental research, including collider physics, dark matter search, neutrino physics and nuclear physics. English is the working language at the institute.
