Job description:
The particle theory group at the Institute of Nuclear Physics (IFJ PAN) in Krakow invites candidates for a 2-year postdoc position as part of the research project "Higgs boson production at highest precision in Quantum Chromodynamics" to work with Sebastian Sapeta and Andreas van Hameren.
The application, consisting of a curriculum vitae and brief research statement, should be sent to: sebastian.sapeta@cern.ch. In addition, the applicant should arrange for two recommendation letters to be sent to the same address. Deadline for the application is 17.07.2016. The position will start on 01.10.2016.
The candidate is expected to poses experience in precision QCD calculations, good programming skills and be passionate about work in fundamental research.
The group offers excellent working conditions in an active environment, access to world-class experts in precision calculations, and the gross salary of 5400 PLN (~4500 PLN net) + travel budget.
