Job description:
The HEP Division at Argonne National Laboratory invites you to apply for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position to work on the ATLAS experiment at the LHC. You will be expected to take critical roles in detector operations, as well as to make significant contributions to data analysis. This position will be initially based at CERN.The ANL group has a strong expertise in Tile calorimeter and Trigger/DAQ (TDAQ) system. We are heavily involved in the ATLAS operations, including the Tile Low Voltage Power Supply (LVPS), the Region of Interest Builder (RoIB) and the FTK Level-2 Interface Crate (FLIC). Current analysis involvement of the group includes Higgs studies and searches for new phenomena. We expect the applicants to have received your Ph.D. in experimental particle physics within three years of the start of the appointment.
