Postdoctoral Fellowship, ATLAS Experiment
The ATLAS group at the University of Alberta has an opening for a Postdoctoral Fellow. The group's current activities focus on the high level trigger, the ATLAS forward physics project, Monte Carlo generators and production, and physic analysis (http://www.cpp.ualberta.ca). We are looking for a candidate with a PhD in experimental particle physics to take a leading role in one or more of the group's responsibility and be active in physics analysis on a topic commensurate with the group’s interests. The candidate will also be expected to assist with maintaining our computing infrastructure.
The salary will be commensurate with the experience of the selected candidate. The position is intended to be for three years, of which approximately one year should be spent in Edmonton. Consideration of applications will continue until the position is filled.
