The Multidisciplinary Center for Astrophysics (CENTRA) is accepting applications for Ph.D. positions in Astrophysics and Cosmology for the forthcoming 2016 FCT fellowship call program. CENTRA is looking for candidates interested in making their Ph.D. thesis in one of the following topics of asteroseismology, helioseismology, stellar evolution, solar physics, theoretical cosmology and particle physics (focus
on dark matter and neutrinos).
 
Candidates wishing to apply are expected to have a strong CV in astrophysics, physics, mathematics or related diplomas.  Preference will be given to applicants that as undergraduates have read courses in astrophysics and cosmology, and already have some research experience. CENTRA is part of the Department of Physics at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) from the University of Lisbon (Portugal).
