Faculty position in Theoretical Particle/Astroparticle Physics - Senior at New South Wales U.

Job description:
The School of Physics at the University of New South Wales anticipates to make one continuing faculty appointment in 2016, in the area of Beyond the Standard Model particle theory, including but not limited to early universe cosmology, astroparticle physics, dark matter models and phenomenology, and model building in relation to the Large Hadron Collider. The position will be offered at Australian academic Level C (Senior Lecturer).

About the role

  • AUD$117,924 – AUD$135,291 p.a., plus 17% superannuation, and leave loading
  • Continuing position
  • Full-time (Level C)

Candidates should have research interests broadly aligned with existing research at the School of Physics. The successful candidate will receive a substantial start-up package to support their research and may be eligible for relocation assistance which would include financial support.  In the case of non-Australian citizens, assistance in the application for residency will be considered. Candidates with exceptionally strong track records relative to experience in related research areas are also encouraged to apply.
