Job description:
LIP-Lisbon invites applications for a postdoctoral research position in
the CMS experiment at CERNs LHC.
The LIP/CMS group is currently active in top, Higgs, SUSY, B and quarkonia
physics and rare decay searches, exploiting both the energy and luminosity
frontiers offered by the LHC. The group has important responsibilities in the
operation, monitoring and upgrade of the CMS ECAL and CT-PPS detectors.
The position will be in the physics areas of heavy flavour, rare decay and exotica searches.

The appointment is initially for a period of two years. The position is
based in Lisbon. Qualifications required include a PhD in experimental
particle physics and a clear demonstration of the ability to carry out a
research program.
