Job description:
We invite applications for a four-year PhD position in the field of theoretical cosmology at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
The topic of the PhD position will be related to multi-field inflationary models and their predictions. This will involve both theoretical analyses as well as numerical simulations.
The research will take place at the Van Swinderen Institute for Particle Physics and Gravity, see http://www.rug.nl/research/vsi/. Moreover, strong connections are foreseen with a number of other cosmological groups in the Netherlands, including that of Enrico Pajer at Utrecht University. This position is funded by the Dutch national research programme Observing the Big Bang. The salaries in the Netherlands are very competitive.
