Job description:
The University of Stavanger invites applications for a 3 -year position as Postdoctoral Fellow in mathematics at Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, starting autumn 2016.

The position is funded by Norwegian Research council.

The Fellowship is within the area of differential geometry/pseudo-Riemannian geometry/real invariant theory, and is part of the project “Pseudo-Riemannian Geometry and polynomial curvature invariants: Classification, Characterisation and Applications” funded by “Fellesløftet”. Candidates with knowledge within one or several of the following areas are preferred: pseudo-Riemannian geometry, Lie group theory, mathematical relativity, invariant theory or holonomy.
